The Lifepak AED trainer unit will provide learners with a realistic experience of how the device will work during a rescue. With the ability to act out multiple scenarios, a training unit is a great option to help boost user confidence and allows potential rescuers to practice the steps to delivering successful treatment to a victim of cardiac arrest.
The CR-T unit has been discontinued since 2019 but the Lifepak CR2 trainer and the popular Lifepak 1000 trainer unit are still available to purchase here in Ireland. But don't worry, we still stock the accessories and consumables for the CR-T, as this unit is still in service with first responders, first aid trainers and community groups.
Using a Training Unit
By using the provided remote, you can tailor your training experience with the Lifepak training unit by selecting a preset simulation to demonstrate the different stages of the defibrillation process. With pre-set AED training scenarios to choose from, you can prepare learners for a wide range of possible emergencies and switch between simulations of fully automatic and semi-automatic modes depending on your device.
Having the ability to carry out a rescue process in a controlled and relaxed environment, allows users to increase their confidence and ask any questions they may have about delivering a rescue using the device.
They will become familiarised with the audio and visual prompts provided by the unit, providing them with the ability to recognise what sequence the rescue steps should be taken in and promoting self-belief in delivering an effective rescue to a casualty.
