Vehicle First Aid Kits

A vehicle is an extension of the workplace and we have a great range of vehicle first aid kits are designed for first aid injury treatment, ideal for use in commercial and fleet vehicles as well as private cars. These specialty first aid kits contain a number of first aid equipment including bandages, dressing pads, eye wash, burn dressings, and much more, all enabling you to provide adequate first aid treatment to a number of injuries you may encounter on the road.

Employers have a duty to provide first-aid materials / equipment at all places of work where working conditions require it. Depending on the size and/or specific hazards of the workplace, trained occupational first aiders must also be provided.

Where employees regularly work away from the employer’s premises and there are no special hazards or problems of isolation, no first aid materials/equipment need be provided by the employer. Where such work involves the use of dangerous tools or substances (e.g. agricultural and forestry work, electricity, gas, water and telecommunications services, transport of hazardous articles and substances etc.) the travel kit should be provided along with any special  materials/equipment or antidotes as appropriate. It is not considered necessary that all employers should supply a travel kit to employees who travel in the course of their duties unless special hazards or isolation factors apply.
